Glory Carriers

The ministry of the New Covenant is a ministry of substance. It is more than merely doctrines or principles, but it is a ministry where a Person is given away. We are not merely called to only preach a message, but we are to introduce people to the Person behind the message. Words fall short and do not compare to a ministry of both words and encounter. Jesus said you, “Search the scriptures because you think that in them is eternal life, but they testify of me and you refuse to come to me that you may have life.” (John 5)
The Word of God is intended to bring people into the encounter of God himself. For, “The kingdom of Heaven is not a matter of talk but power.” (1 Corinthians 4:20)  In Acts chapter 3 Peter is preaching and in verse 19 he says, “Repent therefor and be converted so that your sins may be blotted out, in order that times of refreshing may come from the Presence of the Lord.” Peter pleads with the Jews to repent and believe but for the ultimate goal of being immersed in the Presence of God. Repentance, forgiveness and faith in Jesus Christ results in the open portal to jump into the heart of God. If we repent but don’t enter into an on-going encounter with the Holy Spirit we are missing the point, we are missing the main enchilada.

We are carriers of an infinite supply of the Spirit of God. We having rivers of infinite Glory in our hearts waiting to be unleashed upon the world. The floodgates of heaven are in our bellies. We have the great privileged of hosting the Lord’s presence, to be a source of outpouring. We have the permanent abiding Presence of God within us and He is like a crouching lion waiting to pounce on the broken, the hurting, the demonized, the depressed, and the addict. He is waiting us to give Him room to move by providing opportunities to let Him show-up and showoff to whoever we may be talking to.

We have been commissioned to throw people into that ocean of His Spirit, to compel them to drink of the river, to cast them into heaven so to speak. The preaching of the gospel should never be without a genuine encounter of the the Holy Spirit. We have freely received His Presence and now we freely give Him away. The believer is a portal, a door between the seen and unseen realm. Heaven invades earth through us. God is in your belly and He wants out.

Presence evangelism should be central to ministering. You are giving people an opportunity to encounter God, which makes them more likely to believe than just presenting doctrinal truths. Since we are born again and regenerated by the Holy Spirit, laying hands and asking God to whack ’em is essential. One prayer could bring an awakening that could transform a person forever. Once you unblock that well of glory in a persons heart who knows what could happen, they could become the next Reinhardt Bonkee and bring over 70 million people to the Lord.

The number one thing that we would want to manifest when we evangelize is the Presence of God because it is the anointing that breaks the yoke, because where the Spirit is present there is freedom, and when we behold the glory of God we are transformed into that same image. Prophecy, healing, and preaching are great but no person should ever leave your presence not having met the King of Kings, if all that person encountered was you, then you’ve failed to represent the true nature of the Gospel which is a living, breathing, experiential, love-crazed relationship with the Father. May we be the light we have been called to be and release the King where ever we go.
