Sin and Repentance

Father I come to You in the name of Jesus. I come boldly before Your throne of grace to receive mercy and help in my time of need. I declare that the blood of Jesus paid for everything, and that in You is all freedom, deliverance, healing, and breakthrough. To You alone do I turn for my needs. Therefor in the name of Jesus, I pray for the conviction of the Holy Spirit, the fear of the Lord, and the exposing light of God to fall upon me right now and bring up every sin and sins I’m not even aware of. Search my heart and convict me of what I need to surrender to Christ. (Wait quietly for a couple minutes and allow the Holy Spirit convict you.) I confess to You my sins (list them) and ask for forgiveness, cleansing, and freedom. I choose to turn from these wicked actions and pray that You would empower me by Your Spirit to do so. I ask You to break the chains of sin in my life, and to put to death the deeds of my flesh. Immerse me in Your Spirit that I may live a godly and upright life, a life that pleases and brings glory to Christ Jesus.

Cleansing of the Soul

I ask right now Holy Spirit that You would pour out Your fire upon my mind and burn out the un-godly patterns and strongholds of thought that oppose Your kingdom. Let Your fire thoroughly purify my imagination from every filthy image, and my heart from every fleshly desire. (Pause for a minute and imagine His fire burning these things out.)

I also ask that Your blood would flow over my mind, will, and emotions, blotting out the memory, guilt, shame, and condemnation of sin, and the damage it has done to my conscience. (Pause for a minute or and imagine His blood flowing through you and covering your mind.)

*Note – During the day these two practices of the fire and the blood can be a very powerful and effective weapon. Every time a a negative thought or temptation comes in your mind, don’t just try to block it out by biting your lip. First command the thought/image/desire to go in Jesus’ name, release Holy Spirit fire on that thing to burn it out, and then pray that the blood of Jesus would cleanse your mind, will, imagination, heart, and conscience. Actually imagine these things happening! Visualize the fire and the blood working inside of you as you close your eyes, and most importantly stand in faith that what you have asked and declared is being done.

Demonic spirits

Holy Spirit I ask that You would reveal any spirit that I need to break agreement with and be delivered from, show me now in Jesus’ name! (Pause and wait for the Holy Spirit’s leading if something comes good, if you hear nothing proceed anyways.) (Now turn to the unclean spirits associated with the sins that you’ve confessed – for example the spirit of lust, anger, pride, hate.) I command every spirit of (list them by name) to get off and out of me in the name of Jesus. I break every demonic attachment and loose my self from all demonic sinful energy deposited in my body. Every demonic desire, thought, emotion, presence, energy, attachment, curse, sickness, confusion, and bondage be broken by the power of the Holy Spirit and be gone in the name of Jesus. GO! I shred every agreement I have made with demonic spirits knowingly and unknowingly, through sin of every kind, through believing lies, unbelief, false doctrines, and participating in occult activity, I break these agreements and covenants made and say they are null and void. I yoke myself to God through His Son Jesus Christ and come into agreement with the Word of God that I am delivered out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of heaven, and have come under a new covenant that was penned with the blood of Jesus. Father deliver me right now and send forth your angels to enforce the freedom that was purchased at the cross. Father in Jesus’ name let Holy Spirit fire consume and burn out every demonic force operating in my life. I come out from under the influence of demonic spirits and I submit myself to the Spirit of God alone. I reject all demonic fruit and Father I ask that the fruits of the Holy Spirit would fill me, infuse me, and flow through my life in Jesus name. (Pause and receive your deliverance by faith, see the Lord breaking chains and driving the evil spirits out of your life.)

Declaration of Identity

I now declare that I am a son of God, the righteousness of Christ, a new creation, a saint not a sinner, holy, pure, sanctified, washed, cleansed, born from above, seated in heavenly places, a citizen of heaven, a holy priest, an ambassador of Christ, one with God, a temple of the Holy Spirit, blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms, equipped with everything needed for life and godliness, filled with the Holy Spirit, and have an abiding anointing within that teaches me all things.
I reject all identification with sin and reckon myself dead to sin and alive to God. Sin is not my identity, I know who I am and will act accordingly! Holy Spirit right now please empower me to walk out my true identity in Christ and to reject the lies of the enemy and the pull of the flesh in Jesus’ mighty name!

Inviting the Holy Spirit – Activation

Now Holy Spirit I ask that You would come in power, in Your glory, fire, and love. Reveal to me the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Father fill me once again with Your Spirit, and unlock realms of glory and grace that I may experience You more deeply and become aware of my union with You. Unleash the Spirit of wisdom and revelation flooding me spirit, soul, and body, that I might know You better and understand the infinite power that works inside of me on my behalf. Awaken me to the realm of Your love. Activate my spiritual senses to hear You, see You, and feel You. Give me eyes to see and ears to hear and a heart to receive and recognize Your presence. Break all hardness and lack of sensitivity to Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name deliver me from every spirit that constricts and blocks me from experiencing the presence and power of God. Tenderize my heart and make me responsive and obedient to Your voice and presence. Completely destroy every spiritual, soulish, and fleshly blockage that keeps me from more of You. I repent for grieving You through sin, and quenching You through ignorance or fear of the supernatural. Pour out the new wine of your Spirit and intoxicate me to the extreme in Your love, in Jesus’ name! (Now close your eyes and hold out your hands and receive a fresh touch of His Spirit, imagine that He is filling you up, open your heart and let rivers of living waters flow out of your spirit. Soak in His presence and let Him take you deep.)
