The world says “I’ll believe it when I see it,” but Jesus says, “believe it and you will see it.” Faith must come before the experience. When we believe the word of God it will become real to us. The word will move from concept to reality when we humbly believe and obey it. Faith is our sixth sense that enables us to step into the unseen realities of the Spirit and apply what Christ has done on the cross.
It’s humble faith in the word of God that will release to you the benefits it speaks of. Faith comes before the manifestation. You do not need to “feel” free from sin to start believing that you already are, you don’t need to “feel” what the word says before you believe it. In the Spirit it is already a done deal and as you believe and obey it will manifest in your experience. So don’t wait to see it before you believe it, believe it and you will see it.
Faith is a solid confidence in unseen realities, realities revealed in God’s Word. When we place our faith in what He said even though it is unseen it will materialize in the seen world. For example, if I believe the unseen reality that I am crucified with Christ and that I am dead to my sinful nature, then that reality of my deadness will materialize in my life and His word will become a living reality to me.
Faith in the objective reality (the unseen facts) will cause them to materialize in my subjective experience. There are many objective “gospel truths” that need to be believed before they are seen. If you believe it you will see it. Faith is a pipeline, or a door between Heaven and Earth. When Faith is active, Heavens realities flow into the believer’s life. The kingdom realm is released into our lives by faith, it’s our connector to the unseen dimension.
